Viggo comes from a family of artists; his father, Stig Sommer, was a painter and also worked with ceramics. Viggo has always drawn and painted, and since attending Århus Academy of Art, he has had his own workshop and exhibited in Denmark and other countires. Viggo’s art includes naturalistic travel drawings in pastel chalk on velvet paper as well as fantastic school decorations and coats of arms with symbols and heraldry from many countries, sawn out of plywood and decorated with acrylic paints.
